Sales and General Questions

What brands do you offer?

We are proud to be a Club Car dealer, we also carry Finn electric golf bikes, as well as Dach electric vehicles. Currently we are working on bringing on the Evolution brand as well! With our used segment we carry the big brands of Club Car, Yamaha, EZGO as well as Finn Electric Golf Bikes and more as they come to us. Used variety is always changing, check in at one of our stores, on our website, or by giving us a call for more information.

Which is better gas powered or electric powered?

This is a great question, and one that we hear a lot, to be honest there is no right or wrong answer. It comes down to customer preference. Some prefer the ease of use of a gas/fuel- powered golf cart or utility vehicle,  there is no need to worry about if you charged your batteries, minimal battery minimal maintenance and etc. While others prefer the minimal noise and quietness that an electric powered unit can offer. Electric vehicles with a flooded-lead acid battery do require more basic maintenance; checking your water levels once a month, making sure connections are clean, as well as checking the connections are things one will need to do regularly. Electric vehicles with lithium batteries are considered to be maintenance free as the battery or batteries require minimal maintenance and service.

Why by used?

We go through our used carts to help make sure they are in great running order to help make sure you and yours can enjoy for years to come. Used can also be a great option when looking for savings, or when wanting to customize a cart and help keep pricing down. New or used we have what you need!

What are the advantages of choosing lithium versus flooded-lead acid battery powered units?

Lithium units come with several advantages, one being no maintenance, lithium units also typically charge in less time, as well as come with a longer warranty and are said to be good for 10 years! In some instances your flooded-lead acid battery power backs can go a further distance between charges, but require more maintenance and general rule of thumb is replace every 4-5 years. Lithium powered units can cost more, when compared to the standard flooded-lead acid batteries, however when looking at battery life and ease of use it can start to balance out. For more information on Lithium versus Flooded-lead acid batteries contact our staff today!

I see a cart you have at your Bismarck store but I am closer to the West Fargo store, can this be brought over?

Yes! We have driver(s) out between the locations weekly and can get it brought from one store to the other usually within the week, if not by the start of the following. See our staff for more information.

I like an Onward on your floor, but I don’t like the seats, what are my options?

With Onwards we can typically change seat options, body color, or tire options on site at each location. See our staff today for more options and information on our Club Car Onwards.

Can I add accessories to a used cart?

Yes, we try to be stocked up for just the occasion; most models we have at either location can have things such as lights, seat kits, lift kits, wheels and more added to them! Contact our staff for more information on customizing a car today!

Service Questions

What do you charge for battery replacement on an electric cart?

On a typical electric golf cart in for new batteries, it will be the cost of batteries (contact Parts or Service for pricing) plus an hour of labor. If the cart is in and getting anything additional installed that will need power, additional parts and labor may need to be added. For more information ask our service department today.

How long should I go before servicing my gas cart?

For most carts it is recommended once a season or every 100 hours whichever comes first.

My electric cart’s batteries are dead, why won’t my charger turn on?

This is a great question that we see a lot, in MOST cases what has happened is your batteries pack voltage is so low that the charger cannot sense the batteries. If this is the case, the batteries will need to be charged up individually, then put back in before trying your charger again.

Why is my gas golf cart going through batteries? I have put 2 new batteries in a short time, and the cart is still dying or has always has a low battery.

The most common issue when your cart is going through problems like this is often the voltage regulator, it allows the cart to charge and keep your battery at charge while you are driving. Another common issue is the cart is going to slow for the cart to adequately charge while in use; low speed for an extended time and or continuous use can cause the battery to drop without getting an adequate charge.

Parts Questions

What kind of parts do you offer?

We carry Club Car brand parts, as well as work with great aftermarket companies such as Nivel and Redhawk to help get you the part you need.

Do you carry any non Club Car parts?

Yes, though not nearly the amount as Club Car, we try to have some of the most commonly used parts for major brands such as Yamaha and EZ GO on hand. Should we not have them they can be ordered and can usually be in store ready to go for you with in 7-10 business days.

What is needed when looking for parts?

Great question! We usually need the year and model, a serial number is best and can be used to identify the cart you have to move forward in locating the correct parts.

Is there any reason to stay away from aftermarket parts and accessories?

Though we do recommend OEM parts when applicable, there are plenty of great options in the aftermarket segment. These can sometimes become the only option when carts reach a certain age, and official OEM parts become obsolete.

Can you get parts for any cart?

When it comes to the big three of Club Car, Yamaha, and EZGO we can usually find parts and or accessories for your needs. Our parts department is up for the challenge and will work with you to try and find what you need no matter the cart.
